| Happy Mother's Day Mom! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! |
May is the month I learned my capacity to juggle. Between a full schedule at Northwest All-Star Gymnastics in preparation for Spring Fling and their Awards Banquet, planning a graduation party complete with out of town guests, meeting with the City of Houston (several times), traveling to dozens of appearances in 9 different Texas cities and learning (just in time for Mother's Day) that my Mom's breast cancer may have returned ... I have learned the art of prioritizing, juggling and PRAYING. This has honestly been a month that has run the gambit of emotions ranging from excitement to distress, positive energy to stressful fear. Being a National Titleholder, albeit AMAZING, is still a full time job and when family needs or crisis arrive, priorities become the lesson to learn. I thank God for the Directors I have. Their daily support, encouragement and assistance has made my relationship with them stronger, more respectful and forever friends.
I hope you take time to look at the pictures of all the different appearances from this month! Especially the Memorial Day ones... Those who know me, know how committed I am in support of our service men/women and that my deep respect and admiration comes from my deepest respect and admiration for my Dad who served so committedly in WWII. And of course, for my daughter who is still serving in the US Army.
June is expected to be a more restful month! I'll let you know!
God bless our troops, and may God bless America!
