Wow... I am honored and humbled ... The Jefferson Award is a much esteemed and prestigious community service award! THANK YOU!
This month offered so many appearance opportunities ... I am not sure which one I should highlight. If I had to pick one, it would have to be the sobering visit to America's First Vietnam Memorial. The memorial is in Angel Fire, NM and was built by a grieving father in tribute to his son. Today, it is a beautiful tribute to our soldiers, as well as a sanctuary to many touring Vets. Angel Fire, NM is a BEAUTIFUL city and ski resort and I was excited to be a part of the "Still Groovin After 40 Years" promotion, along with the dedication of one if the ski runs to their fallen Angel Fire citizen, ski instructor and Army son. All in all, amidst many appearances, March was a busy, educational, enlightening, humbling and EXCITING month!
