| A New Year as Mrs. US America 2007! |
Well... I only THOUGHT I was done with pageants! One of the things I love the most about being a title holder is the opportunity it affords me to be a catalyst for change. I have many organizations and causes that I hold dear to my heart. It is for the purpose to continue the work I was able to do as Mrs. Texas United States that has driven me to be Mrs. US America 2007. This pageant system promotes and encourages it's Queens to be active community leaders and spokeswomen, not just crown wearing, parade going Queens. I have an AMAZING group of Queens that I am so privileged to work with. Our Teen US America, Ashton Thiess is bar-NONE the best role model and teen leader I have ever met. Our Miss US America, Lexie Mason, is not only an outstanding beauty with the highest of morals and integrity, but is a kind and talented young lady. Our Ms. US America, Crystyl Swanson is one of the smartest women I have ever known, and she can SING ... boy, can she SING! Crystyl is a respected business woman and is the National Spokeswoman for the Heart Association. Our newest National Queen is Lyn Hawthorne, 2007 Classic US America. Lyn rounds out the team of Queens with a resume of accomplishments that can only be matched by a "Who's Who Of American Women". Each of these Queens bring to the US America Pageant System, strength, integrity, talent, leadership, beauty, grace, intelligence and the BEST in women... I am PROUD to be among them.
